4-Year Curriculum Involved Common Core Courses Physics Projects

Dear Students,

In 2024-25, the Department of Physics is going to offer the following undergraduate project and direct studies courses.

(1) PHYS3999 Directed studies in physics

(6 credits, a semester long course offered in both 1st sem & 2nd sem): for third & final students

(2) PHYS4999 Physics project
(12 credits, a yearlong course): for third & final students

PHYS3999 and PHYS4999 (2024-25) are now open for enrolment. The lists of topics offered could be found here (PHYS3999), or here (PHYS4999). Interested students are required to complete and submit the application form via email (kyyue@hku.hk). The application deadline is on 26 April 2024 (Friday). Please note that late application will not be considered. You are advised to submit the application as early as possible. Applicants will be notified of the application result via email in mid-July.
