Abstract

The interaction between superconductors and ferromagnets attracts great attention due to the proximity effect and spin-triplet superconductors for topological quantum computing. Spin valves provide an excellent platform for exploring these intertwined mechanisms by manipulating the configuration of the ferromagnetic layers (parallel or antiparallel). NbSe₂ as a transition metal dichalcogenide, stands out with a relatively high superconducting transition temperature (TC ~ 7 K) and strong spin-orbit coupling (SOC). These characteristics make NbSe₂ a promising candidate for exploring the relationship between superconductivity and spintronics in spin-valve devices. This study investigates the spin-dependent performance of ferromagnet/2D 2H-NbSe₂ superconductor/ferromagnet current-perpendicular-to-plane spin valves, highlighting their complex interactions in spintronics.
