Abstract
The Standard Model (SM) is regarded as the most successful model in particle physics. However, there are still some limitations. Many beyond Standard Model (BSM) theories are trying to answer these open questions. The existence of colour-octet scalar state sgluon is predicted by some BSM theories. The search for sgluon with 4-tops final state is presented. The analyzed dataset corresponds to an integrated luminosity of 139 ifb of proton-proton collisions collected at the centre-of-mass energy of 13 TeV with the ATLAS detector at the LHC. With the sgluon signal Monte Carlo generation, the signal is well studied and then the signal will be analyzed based on the current BSM 4-tops analysis. We aim to set 95% CL upper limit on the signal parameter space in the statistical analysis to probe the particle.
