Abstract
Motivated by the recent experimental progresses in the study of p-wave resonant Fermi gas, I investigate the normal state properties of such a gas close to the scattering resonance. In particular, I will discuss our results for the equation of state and the contact parameters which characterize the universal properties of such a gas. Our calculation takes explicitly account of the effective range correction and obtains the superfluid transition temperature Tc within Nozières-Schmitt-Rink (NSR) scheme, and shows that it lies within experimental reach. Analytic result for Tc in the weak coupling limit is derived and shows the non-analytic dependences of the effective range that has so far been ignored.
Anyone interested is welcome to attend.
