Description
The visit to Daya Bay was organized and sponsored by the China Light & Power Co. Ltd. Altogether 14 staff and students from the Department of Physics visited the Daya Bay Reactor Neutrino Experiment and the Daya Bay Nuclear Power Plant on March 13, 2014. The visit started with a tour in the largest underground hall (the Far Hall) of the Daya Bay Experiment, followed by a tour in the Control Room. Then we moved to the sight-seeing platform of the Daya Bay Nuclear Power Plant, followed by a tour in the Training Centre and Exhibition Hall. The visit ended with a lunch in a local restaurant.
