Workshop Description:

This workshop introduces Monte Carlo methods to current and prospect physical scientists.
This workshop is useful for beginning postgraduates or current undergraduates intending to do research in physics.
This workshop aims at introducing the following concepts:

~ Mathematical Foundations of Monte Carlo Method;

~ Random Number Generation;

~ Monte Carlo Integration;

~ Principles of Monte Carlo Method;

~ Importance Sampling;

~ Metropolis Algorithm;

~ Swendsen-Wang Algorithm;

~ Wang-Landau Algorithm;

~ Variational Monte Carlo;

~ Diffusion Monte Carlo;

~ Green's function Monte Carlo;

~ Path Integral Monte Carlo (Worm Algorithm).
