Abstract
 

Topological phases of matter is a new order of quantum matter states, going beyond the symmetry-breaking and Fermi liquid theory of Landau. The relevant research is flourishing during the past decades, including symmetry-protected topological (SPT) phases [1–3], symmetry-enriched topological (SET) phases [4], long-range quantum entanglement, and even the fault-tolerant quantum computation. Edge and surface states, as one kind of tools to characterize topological phases, are undoubtedly important for topological phases. Thus, this research aims to investigate the bulk-boundary correspondence of topological phases. Precisely, it is to construct the bulk-boundary correspondence between 3D bosonic or fermionic SPT phases, under mirror symmetry M and another symmetry G = U(1); SU(2); SO(3), with its symmetric boundary SET phases. The expectation is to derive a set of indicators (called anomaly indicators), to explain their physical definitions and to check the agreement with previous research for each symmetry group [5, 6]. Several methods could be used, including dimensional reduction, folding approach [7], gauging symmetry, anyon condensation and so on. This is a fundamental work on exploring the rich physics underlying topological phases, looking forward to advance the understanding on SPT, SET and edge states.
