Abstract

Pulsar wind nebulae (PWNe) are the sources of the galactic high energy particles. The PWN radiates synchrotron emission from radio band to X-ray band. Our previous study about PSR B1706-44 revealed the complex environment inside and different morphological features of some young PWNe between radio band and X-ray band. To better understand the common features and particle acceleration process of young PWNe, we will analyse the radio emission from the pulsar wind nebula around PSR J1124-5916 observed by the Australia Telescope Compact Array (ATCA). We hope to study the structures and synchrotron radiation mechanism inside the nebula by plotting the radio image of this PWN and do spectral analysis in different frequencies. Besides, we will also study some essential properties of young pulsar wind nebulae, such as the local magnetic field.

Anyone interested is welcome to attend.
